Pastor Elisa Brandt was called to St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in February, 2017. She received her Master of Divinity degree from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago in 1998. Her undergraduate degree is from Luther College in Decorah, IA (BA-English/Communications). She has served congregations in South-Central Wisconsin (14 years) and Northwest Chicago (5 years). Pastor Elisa and her husband David, who teaches humanities/religious studies at UW-Whitewater have two daughters: one in middle school and one in high school, as well as David’s two sons, one in military service and one in college. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and exploring new places, and watching movies. She also tries to find time for regular exercise, especially running.
