Larry retired from full-time parish ministry after serving ELCA parishes in the Greater Milwaukee Synod. He is honored to support the vital ministry of St. Stephen’s as adjunct (part-time) pastor: preaching once a month or so, occasional teaching and visiting. Larry and his wife, Kathy moved to Madison in June 2015 for many reasons including, you guessed it, grandchildren!
Rebecca joined St. Stephen’s staff in 2007, taking over as the director of the Sanctuary Choir. In 2011, she transitioned into the role of Director of Music Ministries, and most recently added additional duties when she became the Director of Worship and Music in 2016. She holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in vocal performance, and enjoys the opportunity to occasionally act as congregational song-leader or soloist in addition to directing the Sanctuary Choir or GosBells handbell choir. When she is not singing, you might find her troubleshooting AV equipment or office technology, making something from yarn, baking, or gardening. Rebecca lives in Madison with her husband Stephen, son Ned, and a small tank full of fish.
Roxanne joined the staff at St. Stephen’s in September of 2015, after her daughter, Megan, decided to go to Monona Grove High School. For the previous 20 years Roxanne had been homeschooling her kids and enjoying learning along with them. She, her husband, Kirk, and Megan volunteer with the Madison Herpetological Society educating people about snakes and other reptiles at science fairs and festivals. Roxanne is also an avid painter, and was selected in 2018 as one of the artists to paint a Bucky for Madison’s “Bucky on Parade.”

Tim has served as organist and pianist at St. Stephen’s since 2013. He also teaches piano in a private studio on Madison’s west side. He feels blessed and grateful to work with the wonderful staff and congregation at St. Stephen’s, and to play our beautiful Parsons-Rosales pipe organ. He lives with his wife Kimberly and their two sons, Aidan and Daniel, on the west side of Madison, where they moved in 2005, the year Aidan was born. He has worked as a church musician most of his life, ever since about age 14 when he played the organ for Latin masses at the catholic church in Brookfield, Wisconsin, where he grew up. He attended the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, where he earned a Master’s Degree in piano performance. He lived for many years in New York City, where he was a chamber musician, piano accompanist for singers and instrumentalists, pianist/coach for musical theater and opera, and a church musician.
