St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church and Monona United Methodist Church will host guest speaker, Masood Akhtar, founder of We Are Many—United Against Hate, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization of common people—urban and rural, spiritual and secular—seeking equal protection for all, united against hate, bigotry and racism. This movement has received statewide and national recognition over the last few years for its efforts in community engagement to help people work through prejudices to see our common humanity. Most recently, Akhtar has been speaking out regarding the war in the Middle East. Join us for this timely and essential message at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 5700 Pheasant Hill Rd., Monona.
